I have an MSW from Columbia University and am licensed in New York and New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
I am eclectic in my treatment. I am trained in and successfully use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy and hypnotherapy as modalities of treatment. As a certified clinical hypnotherapist, I am also able to offer a very useful alternative treatment, when needed.
One of the most important parts of my education has been my nearly 20 years of professional experience. During this time I have learned that every person, similar issues or not, needs to be seen and treated as an individual with his or her own needs, unique to that person.
